A habit is a thought or action that repeats … and repeats.

Physical form is created and sustained by habit.

The Habit of Fusion Reaction

All of life is made by patterns repeating themselves, such as our planet circling the sun, again and again.

The Sun repeats what it’s doing, all day long, for eons: providing heat and light by a nuclear reaction called fusion.

The Sun fuses 620 million metric tons of hydrogen into helium every second of every day, year after year.

What the Sun does — every day, month and year — is habit, a repetitive action.

The Sun gives us life and fuels creation by repetition and habit.

Systems within Systems

Habits give rise to form.

Inside every atom — that makes up the cells of our body — is habit, a repeating action of electrons in orbit with an atom’s core.

An atom, a molecule and human body are habits in physical form.

Repeating energetic patterns sustain our physical body.

Habits create and sustain the Universe.

Understanding Habits

To help you better understand habits, and get you thinking in a new and different way, there is a list below called, “Without Habit.”

This list may surprise you, and seem to pivot against the point it is making. Yet, there is more to the list: there is a list beneath the list.

Read the list with a relaxed and open mind. Don’t force meaning or understanding. Read as a meditation, with little thought.

Read the list again, and let the process of knowing and unknowing begin.

Without Habit

      • Without habit, there is no form.
      • Without habit, there is void and emptiness.
      • Without habit, there is selfless union with all that is.
      • Without habit, we have “everything and nothing” at one time.
      • Without habit, there is a peace that surpasses understanding.

Contemplate the list above … consider each line to be the Secret to Life.

Meditate on how your life can be, without bad habits. Think of how suffering and death, of all kinds, can end as we practice new patterns.

Think of life without bad habits: how would this look, feel and be? Consider a life where good habits predominate: what would happen, day by day?

A Better Way of Thinking

Beneath all thought is a better way of thinking, that has no thought.

When we are without thought, without habit or repetition, we know ourselves fully.

Without thought, without habit in action, we are free and completely ourselves.

When we are free of thought, we know all there is; we are fully aware.

Qi Gong practice helps us get to this “no thought” place — a strong, relaxed and accurate experience of self.

With no thought, we have our greater power; there is nothing that cannot BE.

With no thought, everything and nothing happen at the same time, and the bondage of death is broken.

Patterns Create Form

There is a relationship of habit, or repeating patterns, that forms every atom and molecule in the universe, as well as ourselves.

An atom is held in place by constant relationship that stays and stays: repeating itself, being itself … a physical habit manifest.

The Laws of Physical Form

DNA Double Helix

Every physical form is composed of repeating behaviors, habitual actions and constant relationships.

Human cells that form our body have DNA molecules that do the same thing, again and again, forming new cells that populate our bodies and shape who we are.

Human cells differentiate the same way, over and over — making our skin, bones, organs and muscles.

Repetition and habitual action form the human body.

Habitual Action

Habitual action within us, and in the greater world, keeps us alive.

All of physical existence depends on repetition and habit: doing the same thing again and again.

Our physical form depends on our cells knowing what to do, repeating and being themselves in an accurate way.

Our body’s cells are required to do the same thing, habitually repeating their function and replicating.

Inside each cell are organelles, similar to organs in our bodies. These organelles have defined functions they must repeatedly do, if we are to live.

Habitual action within us, and in the greater world, keeps us alive.

The beat of our heart is a habit, a repeating action we depend on to live.

Consider this, there is more to the beat of a heart than a simple beat:

  • We are the beat of our hearts.
  • We are making our hearts beat.

There is a “fly in the ointment” of physical form. This fly is mutation – change for better or worse – in how cells replicate and operate.

A human body is a repeating organism composed of systems that repeat behaviors and functions. Yet change happens: forms and systems both evolve and break down.

How We Evolve

We can change this code of death to a code for eternal life — our normal human state.

We evolve by the random or purposeful event, by favorable mutation. Yet, we fall apart and die in the end.

Choice and selective breading have a hand in what happens. Choice and random events both play a part in how we live, how we evolve.

Yet, living forms choose how they replicate and mate. Living forms choose what they do and where they go … but within most of life is written death.

We are coded and programed to die. In a similar way: death, accident and disorder are coded into nature.

Yet, we can change this code of death to a code for eternal life, our natural human state.

The Structure of Death

We have structured death into life on earth.

Death exists because we kill. Death has become habit, something that repeats again and again.

Death, harm and accident repeat their way inside our body and out in the world.

Most of life is a habit repeating, but we can change all habit and how life forms.

We can undo the habit of death by not killing and not doing harm.

We can change the structure of our bodies and how our cells perform.

We can break the habits that cause death, disease and suffering … by practicing Qi Gong.

Qi Gong can be a habit to make us live forever.

Ending death, suffering and disease is simple — we create new habits of:

      • Love, not hate
      • Kindness, not harm

Everything is fiction, and we’re writing the story we live.
