(From my book, “Lessons in Love“)

We are imperfect beings… but only when we have forgotten our purpose and identity.

We are made in the likeness of the world; we are made to do good works. As we know this purpose, we begin to change, and life starts to work.

This change may be slow, quick or a little of both? It is our choice, to do what is best.

What we do determines how we feel and think. What we think determines how we feel.

If we do what is best, we thrive and experience the best of life.

Compassion is our primary self, but we have to use compassion to have it in our lives. We have to act and practice our best, to get the best of life.

To act from our best is to know the best of who we are. We have to use the best of ourselves, minute by minute and day by day, if we are to have the best of life.

We have been chosen by all the world. We are significant and unique. As we realize our value and purpose, we express the love of our soul. We begin to know who we are.

As we identify with life and all the world, we experience love. Things go well. We feel better in every way. Our problems leave us, and the difficulties that remain seem less unimportant than they were. As we know who we are, we know our purpose, and all we dreamed becomes real.
